We pour our heart and souls into our place. We have this place to share it, the flowers, the food, the view, the feeling that the city is far away. The Farm to Table Feast this year was graced again by fantastic weather. There was a tent, but no need for it other than the coziness factor. After the day’s labors I still managed to stay awake until almost two in the morning around the “after party” camp fire. Thoughts of the pig falling off of the spit into the fire for a few moments or the camp stove on fire were long gone. My heart was full from sharing three things I love, this piece of earth I call my little farm, a long table of people feasting, and my flowers. Thank you to Chris, Margaret, Michael, Carrie, Taylor, Cayley, Emily, Deb, my mother, and all the other people who agree to be part of my crazy ideas. An extra big thank you to Michael, the man in charge of the pig! All of you help put this smile on my face.
