Wilderness…

Wilderness is not only a condition of nature, but a state of mind and mood of heart. “ Ansel Adams.

I am excited to announce that the Bloomsbury Blooms studio is moving. We are moving closer to the wilderness, closer to our farm, closer to my heart, we are moving to Sutton. The space in Anchorage has been great and the time has come to move closer to our farm and the woods we love to forage in. The move will allow us to offer more events and workshops at the farm and to focus more of our time on weddings and events. After six years in business it has come clear to me that I am crazy for weddings and events and I am looking forward to time for many more of these.

We will still be offering single arrangements on Fridays for pick up and delivery in Anchorage. Friday flowers will be available for pick up at two Anchorage locations (stay tuned for these exact locations) and our delivery area will remain the same. For subscription customers we will offer pick up or delivery on Fridays.

For holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day we will have pop up shops in Anchorage to satisfy your flower needs.

The Anchorage studio will be open until December 21st and then we will be taking a holiday break and finishing up the touches on our new studio. The 18th of January will be the first Friday flowers date.

Back to that quote…I am so excited to be moving the studio closer to our farm and Alaska’s great wilderness. I look forward to hosting more workshops, farm to table dinners and retreats at our farm and mountain home and hope that many of you will join us. May all of us strive to find our selves more in nature and that state of mind and mood of heart. Now back to those paint chips and picking out the perfect wall colors in the new space.
