Spring Floral Dreams

Bloomsbury(1of19)

Returned home last night to a thermometer that read -20 on the front porch.  I realized this morning in the daylight that I had been reading the centigrade side. Zero is still cold after spending time in New Mexico, Arizona and California. Thought we could use a dose of spring florals around here. Staying cozy near the wood stove this morning working on our 2019 event calendar. So many fantastic workshops and events on the horizon. Looking forward to collaborating with Alaska Blooms Peony Farm and other local farmers and artists. Yes, we are teaming up with Alaska Blooms Peony Farm for a workshop on their beautiful farm in July! Feeling really good about the decision to move the floral studio to Sutton from Anchorage. It is going to be pure magic to pick flowers right here in Sutton on the farm and arrange with my favorite views out the window. Thinking of those summer golden hours when we will be able to run out the door for last minute photos and foraging will always be at my fingertips.

Hoping it warms up for a ski tomorrow.
